The United Nations Standard Products and Services Code (UNSPSC) is used to classify products and services while considering the diverse needs businesses and organizations have. The UNSPSC breaks down the goods and services into four components, starting with Segment, then Family, Class, and lastly, Commodity. The system helps enterprises buy, sell, analyze, and regulate goods and services worldwide. UNSPSC index continues to grow as goods and services keep on growing worldwide. We currently provide examples of Segment and Family code categories and as the database continues to grow more will be included.
